Aaron Steinberg

Aaron Steinberg is a 3L member of the Entertainment Law Journal, originally from Mason, OH. Aaron has a degree in industrial engineering from Ohio State University. Prior to law school, Aaron worked for technology and entertainment companies in Los Angeles and New York. His interests lie in the intersection of law, creativity, and technology. After law school, Aaron hopes to work for an entertainment law firm to represent artists.

Katie Hinkle

Katie Hinkle is a 3L member of the Entertainment Law Journal from Columbus, Ohio. Katie attended The Ohio State University and studied Political Science as well as Media, Society and Legal Foundations. Katie interned for Becker & Lilly, LLC while in undergrad and learned the ins and outs of Estate Planning and Trust Law. Katie dreams of pursuing a career in Entertainment Law and wants to mainly focus on copyright while also hoping to advise many artists in the Nashville area for years to come. During law school Katie interned for Metro Nashville’s Office of Conservatorship Management as well as Nashville’s Center for the Arts VLPA division. Between 2L year and 3L year, Katie interned for the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance where she worked for the Regulatory Boards division. She also interned for The Bowen Law Group out of Savannah, Georgia, focusing on entertainment transaction and litigation. In the past two years, Katie has been on a weight loss journey where she has lost 100 lbs. so she enjoys running and exercising. She also has an English bulldog puppy named Artemis that keeps her very busy.

Lauren Degen

Lauren Degen is a 3L member of the Entertainment Law Journal from Boise, ID. Lauren has degrees in both Songwriting and Music Business from Belmont University. While earning her undergraduate degrees at Belmont, Lauren interned for the Country Music Association and SESAC. An artist herself, Lauren’s love for songwriting and advocating for creators in the music industry is what led her to law school. Her legal interests include intellectual property, specifically copyright law as it pertains to songwriter’s rights. After law school, Lauren hopes to work in the legal department for either a record label or music publishing company, and eventually begin her own full service entertainment company and legal practice.

Noah Zedeck

Noah Zedeck is a 3L member of the Entertainment Law Journal from Steamboat Springs, CO. Noah attended Emory University where he majored in Political Science and minored in Ethics. After law school, Noah hopes to remain in Nashville working in real estate law. Outside of law school, Noah enjoys skiing, golfing, and supporting local sports teams.

Elizabeth Tirrill

Elizabeth Tirrill is a 3L member of the Entertainment Law Journal. Elizabeth was born and raised in Nashville, but attended the University of Mississippi for her undergraduate degree. There, she majored in political science and minored in legal studies. After graduating in 2020, Elizabeth moved back to Nashville to attend Belmont Law. As a law student, Elizabeth has worked for a local litigation firm, Metro Nashville’s Legal Department, and clerked for judges in both federal and state courts. Elizabeth is interested in intellectual property and international law, and hopes to build a career merging those interests.
